It feel a little ‘plasticy’ so i am giving it 4/5. The mic’s are really sensitive so just waving it around in the air will pick up noise. I wanted to use this in plant rooms and the like which i have not tested yet so it may mean i have to rescored the notes outside. That is half expected so i am cool with that. You can of course do all of this for free on your smart phone. . But is you want to record something in your car, while driving. You are better off with this.
Good for the money make sure you have volume down as recording is much clearer so five outa five good value regards alan goose.
I have had this product a week. So far what i can say is its reasonably robust. But its plastic so should i be surprised. Physical systems integration. The battery life is great and i love that the device wastes no time to switch off when in active which also helps with battery life. The screen is visibly clear but basic functions such as stoping the recorder , skipping to files is a little involved( but not rocket science). Accompanying tools ok but not fit for purpose with say recording from your mobile calls or landlines where i found i had to buy a separate adapter. All in all though id say its a good buy.

Excellent product, great price and fast delivery, just what i wanted.
Bought this for work (45 minutes plus recordings). The instructions are a bit too brief. Recorded first file just fine but then realised it was on hp instead of perfectly acceptable sp and files were so huge, i couldn’t use them even with compression. Once i figured out how to change this default, it’s been fine.
Faulty item turned on display appeared then nothing. No charge indication when put on charge returned for refund contacted directly by company selling item and they refunded me and sent another complimentey digital voice recorder to replace the faulty one, so far the complimented replacement has worked perfectly so i will recommend this company fir digital voice recorders, they want. The customer to be satisfied with their products.
This is brilliant easy to use the recording is clear and great for important conversations when you are slightly deaf and need to hear facts.
this digital voice recorder is really compact and easy to use. Just power it up, long-press the rec button and you are ready to record. I made a recording test and the result was a pcm wav file with a bitrate of 1536 kbps. It also can play mp3s, just copy your favorite songs into the ‘music’ folder of the device, connecting it to the pc with a mini-usb cable. I would recommend this product to everyone,.
this 8gb digital voice recorder or dictaphone is small and lightweight. Digital voice recorder:the buttons are easy to read and press. The case has a real plastic feel to it. The slide switch on/off and the hold button are appropriate since you don’t want to inadvertently turn these on/off. The device has a clear backlit lcd screen so you can see what you are selecting in the dark. However, the buttons don’t light up. The speaker is good and you can easily hear playback from this (see video). The mic in, headphone and usb ports are located on the left side of the device with menu, mode, volume and hold on the left. The microphone is sensitive and picks up your voice easily. It appears sensitive so that if you are moving the device whilst using it you may get interference.
Pretty good, i’ve been able to make lots of voice notes which have been useful to me. Unfortunately i bought this for making notes when i’m driving (part of my job) and the microphones pick up the heavy bass of the car noise much more than my voice. Also it’s very slow to turn on which means you can’t quickly make voice recordings; probably takes about 5 seconds to turn on before you can record. In fact the buttons are pretty unresponsive during normal use too. In fact i’ve just convinced myself whilst writing this that i really don’t like it. Literally bought this thing for those two things: quick notes, and use whilst driving. Might return it and get something different, then again might not. It was an impulse purchase anyway, like one of those things you’ve had in your wish list for ages, then you get paid and just want to get something because you can. Anyway i’m gonna go make a sandwich.
I have encountered problems with this item, therefore left a negative feedback. The company contacted me immediately and offered me all the support to solve the problems. At the end, they replaced it with an updated version, which works lovely and meets my product expectation. Very well built recorder and good sound quality.
I have unpacked and started the process of setting up; this is more involved, so have not completed yet.
Not easy to understand at first. The instruction booklet is not great and some of the features mentioned don’t appear to exist. Found it easier to fiddle around with it to get the hang of things. There are several settings such as recording bitrate, input gain, denoise level and agc level that are not explained at all in the instructions so it is all trial and error. Does have the option of recording in wav or mp3 which is good and transfering recordings to the computer is very straightforward. Time will tell when i have had a chance to try it in differing situations.

I like the size and the display of this recorder. I have used this in lectures not to miss the most important parts. The sound quality is great for the price and it definatedly wins for the size and ease of use.
Vary easy and the voice activation is great, as is the quality of the screen. It also comes with an adaptor to record telephone conversation, just plugin the adapter plug the phone-in leave it on voice activation. All in all a very good addition to my office,and it is value for money.

this voice recorder is a step up from the previous ones i’ve had and has a good weight feeling to it. First thing to note is that this is not compatible with a mac. So only buy this if you have a pc or don’t need to it connect to your mac. The double microphone means it is able to pick up sound really well. Included:there is a usb charging / data cable, pair of earphones and instruction manual. The earphones are reasonable and have rubber earpieces for a more comfortable fit. The instruction manual is fairly easy to follow but i found i learnt more by playing with the recorders functions. You find that the ‘m’ button acts as the enter button most of the time but occasionally the ‘play/pause’ button is the enter button e. This is initially a little confusing but quickly learnt. Four functions:there are 4 functions: voice recorder / mp3 player / alarm / usb flash drive. The voice recorder can record up to 100 hours on the 8gb drive but this will be reduced if mp3s or data files are put on it. There is an alarm function but this is probably the less useful function given the alarms found on phones nowadays. There are two mp3 tracks on the device to demonstrate its ability.
Easy to use, sounds quality much better than expected. I’ve done a 3 hour meeting recording recently and more than eneough space for that. A little bit fiddly with the rewind and skip back to the start function which did leave me wasting some time have to fast forward when i had got back to the start.But mostly positives and i’m glad i purchased it.
Some of the device buttons are fiddly and recordings are saved as wav files so if you want to put them onto some other device you might need to convert the files. I wanted this for evidence gathering for my course but to upload onto my e-portfolio i have to convert to mp3 as the e-portfolio says file size is too big.
Ok if you want it at your mouth but would not pick up voices only 2 yard away. I would not recommend this one and would pay at least £10 more upward for better quality.

This is a sophisticated device, more complex than i actually need, but customer support has been excellent in helping me through the process of understanding its workings, when i couldn’t follow the instruction leaflet. As a voice recorder it does a very good job.
This came same day from amazon and was beautifully packed. The recorder is very compact and will will fit in the smallest pocket, rechargeable batteries save on costly replacements. The unit itself is clearly labelled and easy to use, it also comes with a good set of instructions. There are all sorts of different useful functions, such as the unit pausing when there is no sound and restarting when it picks up sound again, and that’s only one of the great things that you can do with this. This is suitable for recording meetings, phone calls and anything else you way wish to keep. The quality is not bad, i think for this price you can not go wrong. I would happily give this product 5 starts and it comes highly recommended from me, go ahead and buy one, it would make a great christmas gift.
