Apologies if this is old news but I do try to check for updated manuals on their site and this is the first time I have seen it.
It could also explain why there was that shortage and clearance offer session soon after Christmas - Humax making sure the updated manuals were in the new stock they sent out?

I like the line at the top of page 28: 'Digital Television Recording functionality is not available on your product.' - followed by instructions of how to get the update. Think that should have been *now* available!
It's 20 pages longer than the one in the box I bought last week, but still doesn't explain how the box can access the rest of the Internet / NAS storage when it doesn't ask me for my router password..

It doesn't need to ask for your router password as you've wired the box to your router.
